Clean Cheap Water for Mr. Bounma and his Family

Mr. Bounma is 59 years old.  He lives with his wife and six children in KhamKigai village in Tha Kaek District of Khammouan province.  Mr. Bounma is a sticky rice farmer in the lowlands near the Mekong River on the border of Thailand.

Mr. Bounma’s family have treated their water by boiling, but more recently have relied on expensive bottle water purchases.  Now with the ceramic water purifier, Bounma’s family has a sustainable source of cheap clean drinking water.
