Kay and her family have clean water!

Dear Pam,

Miss Kay is 26 years old and lives with her husband, son, 3 younger sisters, mum and dad. They live in the village of Haadkham in central Laos. Like most Lao people she lives in a traditional Lao style home on stilts. She was born into a farmer’s family and therefore works as a farmer too. Before your donation, Kay and her family had to boil well water and then let it cool before they could drink it. Now she can use her filter without the added labour, and be sure that the water she is drinking is completely safe. Thank you Pam!

They live in the village of Phonsytha in Laos. They usually drink the well water without boiling it first and are therefore often sick. Sometimes they are able to afford bottled water, although it is very expensive. Thanks to Neil and his generous donation of a ceramic water filter, they can now drink safe, clean water without fear.
